GRRLS DO THAT TOO was designed to support and encourage women and people of marginalised genders in the male-dominated music industry and local scene.

GRRLS DO THAT TOO is a collective that we have set up to support and encourage women and people of marginalised genders in the Leeds music scene; whether they are on-stage performing, behind the desk recording and mixing or setting up events. We want to create a community where you feel confident to express yourself and show off your creativity.

Putting on showcases for artists at local venues, interviewing passionate womxn+ from the industry to learn and talk about the challenges they've faced and overcome; we want to create safe spaces for people to learn and grow.
Everyone should recognise that the grrls can do the exact same as boys, that we are just as powerful.

Made up of power-duo Eva Davies (front-woman of FIKA) and Hol Brazill (front-woman of Artio), they have a combined knowledge of the industry on and off stage.
Brazill and Davies have successfully booked their own UK Tours, festival slots and self-managed numerous bands. Brazill and Davies live inside the industry, working for Indie Labels such as Monomyth Records and Come Play With Me. This determined DIY attitude led them to join forces and empower womxn+ to take up their space in any form in the industry.
